I’m Nicole, a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. I have extensive experience of working in Child Development Centres across London. I provide private Speech and Language services for children presenting with a range of communication needs in Parsons Green and surrounding areas.
I offer personalised intervention strategies for your child in the comfort of your home and empower you how best to support your child’s development. I can provide as much therapy as they require, be flexible to your needs and commence your therapy journey straight away.

I love what I do
Above all else, I love what I do and the difference I can make. I will strive to be the best therapist for your child.
I hold an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and a Masters degree in Speech and Language Therapy. I am a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Association of Speech and Language therapists in independent practice and Healthcare Professionals Council. I am trained in numerous intervention approaches and am committed to on-going continuous professional development.
I have spent years working in NHS Child Development settings to support children with communication difficulties. I have extensive knowledge of managing a wide range of clinical presentations and working with multidisciplinary therapy teams.
I offer therapy sessions to children of all ages who have communication difficulties. These can include children with pronunciation difficulties or limited vocabularies or children with developmental delays or identified diagnoses (Autism, Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, genetic disorders, Acquired Brain Injury, etc). Irrespective of the label, I support the underlying communication needs. I am truly committed to supporting a child’s development and I love what I do. I regularly undertake additional learning to stay current on new advances. I am currently undertaking additional learning in Neurodiversity affirming practice.

The birth of my first child inspired me to start my own practice. I loved interpreting my baby’s behaviors and sharing advice with fellow parents. I now work to empower parents to tune into their little one’s communicative abilities, match their level, and enrich their developing skills.
My approach focuses on using a child’s strengths to support other areas of development. I believe that with early stimulation, we can capitalise on the neural connections a child makes and encourage their future potential. My dual qualifications in both Neuroscience and Speech and Language therapy make my approach a unique choice to support your child. I provide both universal packages (for any parent wanting to encourage their child’s development) as well as targeted intervention packages (for children with identified communication concerns).
How I work
I provide therapy in the comfort of your own home (Parsons Green, Fulham and surrounding areas). I can demonstrate communication supports within your daily routine whilst your child is calm and regulated in their familiar environment. I can suggest useful strategies/play ideas with your own toys so that you can replicate things when I leave.

Therapy
Firstly we will schedule a phone consultation so I can learn more about what supports your child may need. I will then arrange to visit your home for an initial assessment (parental case history and child focused assessment tasks). A detailed assessment report will be provided and we will discuss an appropriate plan. We will begin therapy sessions where I will work with your child and show you how to practice between sessions. Amount and frequency of therapy is dependent on the nature of difficulties, the child’s learning style and their responses. For some children a block of intervention can resolve an issue. Other children may require longer term support for example if them have additional learning needs. Parents are an integral part of the therapeutic journey and so must be able to commit to supporting therapy strategies. A child may also benefit from a session with school/nursery staff to support consolidation of skills.
